מחסום העמים

מהו עם? מהי אומה?
עם מוגדר כאוסף של אנשים בעלי ציביון משותף (כמו הסטוריה, תרבות, שפה וכו’) והינם בעלי שאיפות לאומיות להגדרה עצמית תחת טריטוריה מסויימת.

קל לראות שהאמריקאים, על אף היותם אסופה של אנשים שהיגרו מעשרות ארצות שונות ובעלי דתות שונות (עם דגש עיקרי על זרמים בנצרות), הצליחו לייצר אומה בעלי מאפיינים יחודיים של שאיפה להומניות, ליברליזם יחסי ומשטר דמוקרטי.

כנ”ל לגבי רוב המדינות האירופאיות, חלק מהאסיאתיות וישראל.

למרות גלות של אלפי שנים ולא משנה אם אתה מהזרם היהודי דתי או היהודי חילוני, לעם/לאום היהודי זיקה הסטורית וערכית מובהקת לשטח המכונה דהיום ארץ ישראל, עפ”י הגדרתו הטריטוריאלית הרשמית בכ”ט בנובמבר (ולא עפ”י התפיסה התנ”כית שאינה רלוונטית עוד בימינו).

בא”י ישבה גם אוכלוסיה מעורבת של ערביי המזרח התיכון אשר בחלקם הגדול הגיעו בתקופה העות’מנית מאזורים שונים ואף בתקופת השלטון הבריטי (ימי המנד”ט) במיוחד כדי לבצע עבודות תשתית ופה ושם חקלאות.
ניתן לראות זאת עפ”י ערב רב של שמות המשפחה שיש לערביי ישראל שלא לאמר על ערבוב הדתות אם נמנה רק כמה מתוכן: מוסלמים סונים, נוצרים, בדואים, צ’רקסים, דרוזים, עלאויים, בהאיים וכו’.

הבעיה הקשה עם האוכלוסיה המכונה פלסטינאית, היא שלמעט בודדים (שאוהבי החיים שבינהם כבר ברחו מזמן לארצות אחרות), אין להם דבר שקושר אותם אחד לשני והם מתנהלים מנטלית וכלכלית כאסופה של כפרים ותתי שבטים בהם כל אחד מהם דואג לצאן מרעיתו. אין להם חגים לאומיים משותפים (למעט הנכבה המומצאת) או פעילויות משותפות כאומה, לא צבא רשמי או קהילות חברתיות אלא רק שנאה משותפת ליהודים (ולא רק בישראל, למי שמתמצא) והתלכדות תחת חזית ההתנגדות המומצאת כאשר כל ארגון וקבוצה לוקחים אותה לכיוון אחר:
– פת”ח/אש”ף החילונים פונים לכיוון פסאודו לאומי אך בפועל הם היו עסוקים בעיקר ביצירת חונטה לוחמת, ארגוני טרור וגניבת כסף מה”עם” שלהם אם לראוותנות (עראפת) ואם לשימון מנגנוני ההגנה שלהם מהעם שלהם עצמו (אבו-מאזן).
– חמאס, גי’האד איסלאמי, גדודי אל אקצה וכל מיני שמות הלוקחים השראה סימבולית מהקוראן. אלה פועלים מתוך אידיאולוגיה פונדמליסיטית סונית כדוגמת דעא”ש וכל האמצעים כשרים מבחינתם להשגת מטרת היעד והיא השמדת המדינה היהודית כשלב ראשון, השתלטות איסלאמית והכלת חוקי השריעה על המזה”ת כשלב שני והשמדת הנוצרים הכופרים כאקט במערכה המסכמת.

שני הצדדים הנ”ל של האוכלוסיה הפלסטינאית מראים שמאחר והם אינם מגובשים כאומה, לא ניתן יהיה להגיע עימם לשום מצב של שלום למעט שלום כפוי ע”י שליטה בטחונית טוטליטרית בחזקת אין ברירה.

לא הרבה נותנים את הדעת אבל מיהם ערביי ישראל? מדוע הם אינם חלק מהאומה הפלסטינאית!? הרי ברור לכל שמדובר באותם אנשים, עד כדי משפחות משותפות משני צידי הגדר.

ובכ”ז, ערביי ישראל בחרו שלא להלחם עם היהודים-ישראלים, קיבלו עליהם להיות אזרחי המדינה וברובם הגדול מתפקדים הן כלכלית והן חברתית כישראלים לכל דבר ולראיה, ערביי ישראל הם בעלי נתוני ההשכלה הגבוהים במזה”ת. ואני אוסיף, רבים מהם עוסקים בתחומים מעבר ל”תרבות האסלאם ושותפיו” אלא ממש תחומים התורמים לחברה כמו רפואה, הנדסה, ראיית חשבון, עריכת דין וכו’.

בעוד “אחיהם” שמעבר לגדר, הכבושים כביכול (בעיקר ע”מ לשמור על בטחונם של אזרחי ישראל) נמצאים בסטגנציה חברתית ללא לאום שמאחד אותם באמת, עסוקים בעיקר בקישוש תרומות ממדינות ערב ואירופה ההומנית ולא מנסים בשום שלב ליצור לעצמם מציאות אחרת שכן לתפיסתם, כל האדמה (מהנהר לים) כבושה. מרכיב נוסף בחולשה הלאומית שלהם הוא התלות הכלכלית המוחלטת בישראל, הן ברמת המיסים בעקבות שירותים ותשתיות שהם צורכים מאיתנו (כגון חשמל ומים) והן בפרנסה ישירה בעבודה בישראל (בעיקר מהגדה, מעזה נתעלם כלכלית ברשותכם אחרי טבח ה 7 לאוקטובר).

קושי מרכזי נוסף לייצר נרטיב של אומה קיים עקב שוני תרבותי ומוצא שונה בין אליו החיים בעזה לבין אילו החיים בגדה ומזרח י-ם. ניתן לראות עפ”י שמות המשפחה (ואצלם משפחה יכולה למנות אלפים) שמדובר באוכלוסיות שונות שכל מה ש”איחד” אותם היה התיישבות ארעית בא”י ופה ושם נישואין מקריים בין “חמולות” (שזו מילה אחרת לשבט) שונות.

ובכלל, האם יתכן שתהיה מדינה אחת כאשר אין להם חיבור גיאוגרפי ישיר?

היחס הפטריארכי שלהם לנשים וחוסר היכולת לצאת מהתרבות הערבית הנוקשה, לא מאפשר להם להתלכד תחת הגדרה לאומית משותפת. נוצר הקשר דימיוני בין הכיבוש ב 76 של ישראל מידי ירדן ומצרים של האזורים (הגדה, עזה ומזרח י-ם) לבין חוסר היכולת שלהם ל”חיות” בשלום איתנו עקב הכיבוש, כאילו לפני כניסת היהודים הם חיו בבתים מפוארים, ניהלו כלכלה עצמית ומסחר עם כל העולם – הרי ידוע שלפני כן הם חיו במחנות פליטים ונוהלו כעם “שבוי” גם בעיני המצרים והירדנים שהנה אוטוטו תחזרו לכפרים ולערים שברחתם מהם מפני הישראלים היהודים (אחרי התבוסה שספגו צבאות ערב במלחמת העצמאות ב 84′).

האם לא היו פוגרומים ביהודים בישראל כבר במאה ה 91 ולאורך המאה ה 02, שנים רבות לפני 8491?

כיצד יסבירו זאת אותם פלסטינאים? – בצורתה הפשוטה מדובר בשנאת יהודים גרידא (קשה לאמר אנטישמיות כי גם מוצאם מן העם השמי).

אם כן, שלום עושים בין עמים וכל עוד “מחסום העמים” שריר באילו המכונים פלסטינאים, לא יוכל להיות שלום או שלווה באיזור.

האם בזאת נחתם הגולל ונגזר עלינו לחיות בסכסוך מתמיד? לא!

האופציה היחידה, קשה עד כמה שהיא נשמעת, גורסת שחייב לעבור לפחות דור וחצי (לא של ילודה, אלא של חיים, בערך 57 שנים) עד שיהיו מספיק אנשים שיוכלו להתלכד תחת שאיפות משותפות ושירצו לחיות בשלום איתנו, הישראלים. זה ידרוש שליטה בטחונית מלאה (של ישראל או מישהו חזק כמותה עם ערכים דמוקרטים משותפים) עד כדי ניהול כל פן החיים שלהם: חינוך, כלכלה, תרבות וכו’ עד שיוכלו להטמע ערכים הומניים מערביים מודרנים.

לצערי הדרך לשם גם דורשת מחיקה של אוכלוסיה פונדמליסטית קיצונית, אם בכח החרב ואם בכח ההכנעה/גירוש.

בנתיים, נותר לנו לבכות את “מחסום העמים” אשר מונע מאיתנו שלווה בא”י. עלינו להמשיך להשכיל ולפתח הגנות והתקפות (מדע, קדמה וטכנולוגיה) אשר יבטיחו שידם של אוהבי החיים והאדם תהיה עליונה על אילו המוסתים ומקדשי המוות.

The Nations Barrier

What are the people of a country? What is a nation?

A nation is defined as a group of people with a shared characteristic (like shared history, culture, language, etc.) and who share national aspiration for self-declaration under a specific territory.

It’s easy to note that the Americans, though in essence a group of people who emigrated from dozens of countries and many different religions (with emphasis on Christian denominations), were able to establish a well-defined nation with distinct characteristics that aspire to humanism, a relatively liberal society and a democratic regime.

The same is true for most of the modern European countries, some of the Asian ones and Israel.

Even though the Israelites spent thousands of years in exile, whether they were from the religious or the non-religious end of Judaism, the Jewish nation has strong historical ties to the land that is nowadays declared as the land of Israel, according to its modern territorial definition as per the declaration of November 29th, 1947 (United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine) and not by its biblical conception which is wider and irrelevant nowadays.

In the land of Israel (Palestine per the British definition) settled also a mixed population of Arabs from all over the Middle East, which in large part came during the long reign of the Ottoman Empire and others settled during the British period (1917-1945), mainly as job opportunity seekers who focused on infrastructure work (buildings, railways, roads and so on) and here and there agriculture.
This large mixture can be observed by the wide range of family names among Israeli Arabs and even their many religions. To name just a few: Sunni Muslims, Christians, Bedouins, Circassians, Druze, Alawites, Bahai and others.

What is Peace?

In its academic definition, peace is a state of no-war between countries, usually backed by some formal treaty and diplomatic relationships and is characterized by some commerce between the “nations” or countries but not always.

Why are the concepts of nation and peace so important for this opinion piece? Because they define the basis for “The Nations Barrier” theorem – there cannot be any state of peace between Israel (the democratic Jewish state with its Arab citizens) and those who define themselves (or are defined by other countries) Palestinians for a very simple reason: They have no foundation of a nation nor any narrative of common people. You cannot sign a peace treaty with their leaders or politicians because the inhabitants of the so called Palestinian territories will not accept them under the patronage of those people who simply don’t represent them.

The difficult issues with the population dubbed Palestinian is that except a few (of whom the reasonable ones have already fled to other countries), most have no heritage links that bind them together and they behave mentally and economically as a flock of villages and sub tribes in which each takes care only for their own people. They don’t share a national anthem or holidays (except the made up Nakba) or common activities as a nation. They don’t serve under an official military or mutual communities and they only share a common self-taught hatred towards Jews (which is not aimed only towards the Jews that live solely in Israel). They are only united under the so called defiance front while each group and organization take it to different paths:

• Fatah/PLO (Palestinian National Liberation Movement) the seculars are aimed at a pseudo national direction but de facto, they were focused on establishing a military Junta, terror organizations and stealing money from their own “people” whether it was for extravaganza (like Yasser Arafat) or for maintaining their own protection mechanism (Palestinian National Authority) that guards them from their own “people” (like Abu Mazen).
• Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade and other names that draw symbolic inspiration from The Quran. Those terror entities act from fundamental fanatic Islamic Sunni ideology like Isis, Al-Qaeda and all means are valid in order to achieve their goal – the total destruction of the Jewish state as a first phase, Islamic domination on the Middle East (under Sharia law) and eradicating the heretic Christians as a final act.

The two faces of the Palestinian population show that as they do not act as a nation, there is no apparent way to reach a real peace but a forced one that can only be achieved by a complete security control under a “there’s no alternative” term.

Not many consider this, but what about the Israeli Arabs? Why aren’t they part of the Palestinian nation!? After all, it’s obvious to all that they are the same people originally, up to mutual family links on two sides of the fence.

Still, Arab Israelis chose not to fight with the Jewish-Israelis, agreed to be Israeli citizens and in most parts, function both socially and economically as Israelis for most aspects. As evidence, many of them engage in more than just Islamic affairs but actual societal engines like medicine, engineering, accounting, law, construction and many more.

At the same time, their “brothers” on the other side of the fence, the so called occupied (mainly to keep Israel safe from their terror acts), are left at a constant stagnation without real nationality that truly unifies them, mainly dealing with beggaring for contributions from Arab states and the humanitarian Europe, and they don’t try at any point to create an alternate realty for themselves as by their perception, all the land (“From the Jordan river to the sea”) was taken from them. Another component in their nationality weakness is their total economical dependency on the state of Israel, be it taxes for Israeli maintained facilities (like electricity and water) or direct employment in Israel (mainly from the West Bank, with your permission, we’ll put aside Gaza economic ties post the massacre of October 7th).

Another pivotal difficulty in creating a nation’s narrative rises due to differences in culture and origins between those who live in Gaza and those who live in the West Bank and Eastern Jerusalem. You can see by their family names (and one family can count as many as thousands of individuals) that they span a multitude of different populations that what “united” them was sporadic settlement in the land of Israel and here and there marriages between different Hamulas (another word for “clan”).

And in general, can there be one state that has no direct geographic link between its parts?

Their patriarchal treatment towards their women and the lack of desire to dispense the strict Arab culture don’t allow them to unite under a definitive common nationality. At some point, a fictional link between the 1967 Israeli occupation of the then Jordanian and Egyptians lands (West bank, Gaza and Eastern Jerusalem) emerged and fortified the Palestinians’ (which weren’t called as such back then) inability to “live” alongside Israel in peace, as if before the Israeli occupation their lives were perfect with fancy houses and worldwide commerce – it’s well known that before that, they were kept in refugee camps and were treated as a “captive” people even in the eyes of Jordan and Egypt while presuming it was merely a temporary state after which they will soon return to the villages and cities they fled from in ‘48 (after they lost in the Israel Independence war).

Weren’t there were many pogroms on the Jews in Israel in the 19th century and at the start of the 20th century, many years before ‘48?

How can those Palestinians explain that? – In its simplest form, it’s purely hatred of Jews (it’s hard to tag it as pure Anti-Semitism as they are also originating from the Semitic people).

If that’s the case, then peace can only flourish between nations and as long the “Nations Barrier” remains in those who call themselves Palestinians, there cannot be peace or serenity in our neighborhood.

Are we bound by that to an everlasting conflict? No!

The only option, as hard as it may seem, states that at least one and a half generations must pass (not by birth but by a full life span, around 75 years) such that there will be enough people who can unite under shared aspirations who will desire to live in peace with us, the Israelis. This will require a complete security control (by Israel or someone equal in its strength who shares Israel’s democratic values) and total management of the population’s aspects of life: Education, economy, culture, etc., until enough time will pass that modern western humanitarian values could be assimilated.

Unfortunately, the path to get there also requires total eradication of the fundamental (radicals) extremist population, whether by the sword or deportation/military submission.

In the meantime, all that is left is to weep for the “Nations Barrier” that prevents peace and serenity in Israel. We must continue to be smarter and educated, to invent superior defensive and offensive means (with science, progress and technology) that will ensure the superiority of those who cherish life and humanity over the incited and death driven zealots.
